Kehua Law Firm (“We”) was founded in 1993, which was registered at the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) of People’s Republic of China (“PRC”). And we were sponsored by the National Institute of Law of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (“CASS”). We were one of the earliest state-owned law firms under the MOJ. We turned into as a partnership law firm in year 2001 after the reformation of all state-owned intermediary agencies through out the country and were registered at the Bureau of Justice of Beijing Municipality (“BOJ of Beijing”).

We are qualified to provide various kinds of specialized legal services to our clients. We obtained the Permit from MOJ and China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”) and are qualified to provide legal services in securities laws. We are also qualified to provide legal services on securities business of foreign companies involving domestic equity in accordance with the Permit form MOJ and CSRC. The MOJ and Ministry of Finance (“MOF”) jointly granted us the qualification to provide legal services on the property right of state-owned assets. We were also awarded by the MOJ, the former Administration Bureau of State-owned Assets, and the former Ministry of Science and Technology the qualification to provide legal services to the definition of collective enterprises’ property right. We are even qualified to provide legal services to large national construction projects for their bidding. We belong to the very few law firms in China that have the specialized legal service qualifications all above.

There are many seasoned and well-known experts and lawyers with great scholarly attainments in our firm. Nearly all of our lawyers graduated from law schools of famous universities in or abroad China as a LLB or above degree, with formal legal education and special training, and most of them had obtained LLM or J.D. degrees from reputable law schools and study institutes. Some of them are researchers or professors at the same time, and another lawyers have been abroad to study, do research work or get advanced training and they can use English, Japanese, Germany, French and Russian as working languages, which will be helpful to our foreign clients. With rich experience and great learning we have handled many difficult and complicated disputes. In addition, we constantly learn new knowledge and skills to face new law challenges from the fast growing society.

Till now, our services have involved representation of action, arbitration and negotiation, legal counsel, legal documents drafting and revising, law training, law consultant, and so on.
